This technology allows you to eliminate leaks without stopping the production process. It is used on media at temperatures from -180 °C to +700 °With and at a pressure of up to 250 bar. It is used to block leaks of water, water vapor, natural gas, hydrocarbons and their mixtures, acids, etc. Usually, the technology of emergency leak elimination is used on static equipment: pipelines, valves, prefabricated structures. The technology is not applicable for dynamic equipment (pumps and compressors).
Its principle is as follows: a metal casing (coupling) is installed around the part of the equipment that is leaking, into which a paste-like sealed component is pumped under pressure.
